Unsealed roads

Whilst unsealed gravel roads provide economically viable access for residents in semi-rural and rural areas, they can be difficult to maintain and often create health and environmental issues with dust. Dust not only leads to health concerns for residents, issues with waterways and general air quality, but in rural areas crops may also affected.

DustBloc can be spayed to reduce airborne dust particles on unsealed roads. As DustBloc is a bitumen based product, repeated applications over time will lead to a build-up of bitumen within the road which will not only improve effectiveness as a dust control, but also improve the pavement’s performance in terms of weather resistance, rutting and potholing.
